THE PREMISE
A reporter and a cameraman head to Walter’s apartment to interview his widow. A cheap shot at catching a hungry audience by the neck, a chance at getting ahead of the competition.
What they found there must never be revealed.
TELEFORUM is a short, analog horror tale exploring the unknown side of media. Conduct an interview and try to discover what truly happened to Walter Martins.
HISTORY
While the team has worked on many projects together and separately for many years, TELEFORUM is the first game released by the Monumental Collab.
In TELEFORUM we experimented with different forms of media, from general adventure game conventions to the use of FMV. We could keep surprising the player (and ourselves!) by making use of all the tools available to us while experimenting with the game’s short story format.
TELEFORUM combines analog horror aesthetics with our team’s strong suits: narrative, atmosphere, mood, and little to no reliance on jump scares.
It’s the sort of game we like to make AND play, and we're very excited to see so many others share these tastes with us.

THE PREMISE
When amateur documentarist Bento vanishes while working on a story about the DROWNED LAKE, all that’s left of him is a mysterious VHS tape. The tape’s broadcast impacts three people in very unique ways, propelling them to search for Bento… and to accomplish their own, ulterior motivations.
In this top-down horror game, you’ll explore the DROWNED LAKE while fishing for strange items, managing your limited resources and surviving the dangers hidden in the waters.

HISTORY
Drowned Lake builds on the success of Monumental Collab’s Our Lady of the Drowned Lake, an original nautical horror experience created for the 2022 GMTK Game Jam. The development team has a shared passion for weird horror, producing multiple experiences for game jams over the years. The studio most recently released the free found-footage horror game TELEFORUM, which launched earlier this year to “Very Positive” and recent "Overwhelmingly Positive" player reviews on Steam.
